Karen Childress Designs creates plans based on your needs.

From floor plans to 3D renderings, you can ‘see’ your space before you build it. Changing your mind in the Design phase is easier and less costly than changing your mind in the Building stage. A well-thought-out, detailed plan will save you money, time, and aggravation when it comes time for the contractor to bid the job and do the work. This well-thought-out design becomes the most important form of communication you will have. You will have fewer delays, changes, and cost overruns because everyone knows what to expect in advance.

Karen Childress discovered kitchen and bath design shortly before graduating with her Interior Design degree from the University of Arkansas. As an avid cook, she appreciates a beautifully functioning kitchen and understands the value of using space wisely.

Karen believes every project should be done in a smooth, timely manner with utmost integrity. She often collaborates with other Designers, Architects, and Contractors.

The only Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) in the Texoma area, she believes it is never too early to make your home function for all ages and stages of life. When building a home, a plan review by a CAPS designer will ensure the best use of your space and will save time and money in the long run.
