Karen Childress: Designer with a Plan in Northwest Arkansas

Raised in Northwest Arkansas, Karen attended the University of Arkansas where she received a degree in interior Design and interned with Kitchen Distributors in Fayetteville, AR, during college. After spending nearly three decades raising her children in North Texas, she began her business as a Building Design Professional in 2015.

With deep family ties in the Northwest Arkansas area, Karen is focused on serving clients in the Fayetteville, Springdale, Bentonville, Rogers, and Gentry area. In addition to years of experience creating plans and 3-D renderings for dozens of remodels and new home builds, Karen has personally experienced the value of spaces that are thoughtfully designed, functional, and accessible. She has remodeled kitchen and bath spaces for both her parents and her father-in-law (all who live in Northwest Arkansas) to accommodate safe and dignified aging in place. She has also created plans for full house remodels for clients.
